Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Summoner Note (the "App") takes the protection of your personal information seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
Riot Games Notice
Summoner Note is not an official Riot Games product and is not affiliated with Riot Games.
The App retrieves publicly available game data through the Riot Games API.
1. Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information
Summoner Note collects and uses information for the following purposes:
- Providing app features: Summoner match history search, rank information, and match history lookup
- Favorites feature: Managing the list of summoners you have saved
- Improving app performance: Usage statistics analysis via Firebase Analytics
- Serving ads: Personalized advertising through Google AdMob
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you enter directly
-
Summoner names and tags you search for (e.g., Name#Tag) — stored locally on your device for display and favorites, and
also cached on the App's server (Firebase Firestore) for a limited period to speed up lookups and reduce
Riot Games API traffic. What is cached is public game data provided by Riot Games (Name#Tag, the Riot account identifier
PUUID, profile icon, level, rank, and match records); no real name, contact details, or payment information is stored.
See 3.2 below for retention periods.
- The list of summoners you add to favorites — stored locally on your device (never sent to the server)
- The subject and body of inquiries or suggestions you submit — stored on the App's server so we can reply
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Anonymous user ID (Firebase Authentication anonymous sign-in)
- App usage statistics and feature usage records (Firebase Analytics)
- App error and crash information (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Device information (OS version, device model — for advertising and statistics)
-
Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token) — collected and used
solely to deliver replies to your inquiries or suggestions, never for advertising or marketing push.
Turning off notifications in your device settings stops delivery.
2.3 Information we do not collect
- Sensitive personal information such as your real name, address, or phone number
- Riot Games account login credentials (this App does not use Riot account authentication)
- Payment information
3. Retention and Deletion of Personal Information
3.1 Locally stored data
- Search history and favorites are stored in your device's internal storage
- All local data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App
- You can delete it directly from the App's settings
3.2 Server data (Firebase)
- Anonymous user IDs and usage statistics are stored on Firebase servers
- No directly identifying information (real name, address, contact details, payment information) is stored on the server
-
Lookup cache — public game data for the summoners you look up is retained for at most:
name search index 30 days · profile/rank/mastery cache 90 days ·
ranking ladder 24 hours · filtered (queue/period) match ID lists 1 day, and is deleted automatically afterwards.
Records of completed matches are immutable public data and are kept for reuse (participant names are not stored).
-
Deletion requests — to have the cache for a specific account deleted, email the Name#Tag to the privacy
contact in section 5. We will delete all cached data for that account after verification.
- Firebase data is governed by Google's privacy policy
4. Use of Third-Party Services
Summoner Note uses the following third-party services:
